Castle Combe Landscapes

I took the opportunity to visit Castle Combe Village for a few hours to re-aquatint my self with this picture-eques Wiltshire village. There’s only a few angles and a few shots here…but what a stunning spot as long as you can fight through the large crowds of tourists. I used a 10 stop VND filter to blur out the hoards. I used a tripod to keep my framing the precisely they same between frames and then shot when people moved around. So I could later clone in portions out of each frame to clear the image from brightly coloured visitors. I’m pretty happy with the results. Most of this town can be easily covered with a single general purpose lens such as a 24-105mm.
